Life Before camp half-blood: Born in a hotel
in California, lived at the Roman Camp for a few years, but fell asleep
and woke up in a forest, and a dryad who nudged her awake guided her to
camp and dealt with monsters. By the time they reached camp, she was
nearly dead. A few months in the infirmary, and she was feeling a little
bit better. She made it to the campfire and at the end of the song, the
fire turned a happy shade of yellow, and a blazing sun appeared above
her head.
role play Example: I tried to balance myself on the board,
but my broken ankle wasn't helping. I knew this wasn't the best idea,
surfing with an injured foot, but for some reason I did anyway. Stupid.
Did I mention the giant wave? These don't happen often. Poseidon was
angry. I just couln't stay on any longer. Next thing I knew I was
sinking. I'm going to die I'm going to die I'm dead I'm going to DIE!!!
I knew I wasn't going to make it. I remembered something. I reached
into my ponytail, and grabbed the hair piece. It was in the shape of a
seashell, and I tossed it hopefully down; I couldn't see it was so dark.
Suddenly, a naiad swam up with her arms outstreched. We collided, and
she propelled me up, away from certain death. I thought I could see
light, then finally broke the surface. I was airborne, and thankfully
got to take a huge breath. I fell back in the water, and swam to the
surboard, and paddled back to the beach. I knew she couldn't hear me,
but I thanked the naiad, who saved my life.
